When I’m not writing, reading, teaching, cooking gluten-free vegetarian foods, drinking coffee, playing scrabble with the kids, or sitting on the balcony in the sunshine, you may find me running the farm roads in the beatiful Bavarian countryside.


I am not one of those people who has always loved running–in fact, I quite loathed it at one time. But now running is dear to me: something I need in order to keep life in balance.

I have struggled with my weight since middle school, and if you flipped through my photo albums, you would see a wide variety of Keri’s.

Running has completely changed my life. Not only does my body feel better than it ever did before, but the exercise has inspired me to make better food choices.

My race is still in progress, and I have many goals along the way, but I feel that I’m finally running in the right direction.
